Halloween Game (2023)
A Unity Game developed in 30 days, using some advanced plugins.
Presentation
This project was a personal challenge: What kind of game could I develop in 30 days? Apart from the deadline, I had no constraints, so I used a variety of assets (both paid and free) to focus more on the coding aspect.
I intensively used the Dialogue System Plugin, for dialogs of course, but for the quest system too. Fun Fact: It's because of this mini-game that I decided to develop Door System Plugin. Indeed, I think configuring doors behavior again and again is a big waste of time! And it should'nt.
Key Highlights
- Original Health System: Player must take care of their Heart Rate. A rate over 220bpm is Game Over.
- Community Feedbacks: I took advantage of my strong community to gather feedbacks during development. Thanks to them, I implemented new Visual Cues to indicate where to put memories.
- Dialogue System: Intensive use of Dialogue System and Raycast Pro to detect Player and increase their Heart Rate.
- Cinemachine: This mini-game would never has been released without the amazing Cinemachine tool.
This game was my first and only "Game Jam" where I had to develop a game in a very short delay. At the end, Players can expect ~30 min of Game Play.
