Projet Mango
A multiplayer Unity game developed with Fishnet.
Presentation
Projet Mango is a multiplayer game where players impersonate a Pirate. Their ultimate goal is to steal the Golden Mango that is hiddem on the island. They have weapons, traps, power ups and Ultis at their disposal. They play on different islands with their own specificities and theme (e.g: Desert Island, Cyber Island, Ghost Island, etc...). A game is organized in 5 battles, during 10min each. Players can earn Mango Coins with certain actions, so they can improve their equipment or buy new weapons.
This project was a Community Challenge (from my French Discord). It was my very first approach to a multiplayer game. I used a server authoritative approach, with prediction to ensure a good responsitivity while playing. To add a bit more fun to it, the wonderful Puppetmaster plugin was used to handle characters mechanics.
Although Projet Mango was already playable,I had to pause this project since it was taking all of my time, preventing me to develop any new professional opportunities. I still plan to take it back when I'll have more free time.

Lobby Room
Player can wait for a new Lobby or create one.

Player can select another avatar before each Battle.
Shop Items
Player can buy traps and weapons to lay on the ground. Canons fire at sight, bear traps slow down enemies, and mines send them in the air.
Cartoonish Shader
Although A.D was not entirely decided yet, I wanted to give it a cell-shading look.
The Mango
Player holds the Mango on top of their head but lost it (the Mango) if they're hit by a projectile or a trap.
The Game
The game is currently in closed beta on Steam but is not being maintained.
